Apologies I have not been online recently. This week has been hectic to say the least. Here is a quick rundown of events:
Weds 13th: Inset day- wasn't very productive because I had to do the music for culture day- very stressful.
Thurs 14th: Day before culture day. *SIGH*. This day idk how to describe was just so much. So I was in econ and we were learning about free trade. our teacher decided to make it into a debate and split the class into 2- for and aginst the use because there are only 2 girls he always has to pick on one of us when he's asking qs. So he's like what do I think..I tell him I don't believe in fair trade (I'll explain in a later post why) and he keeps asking qs on my side of the class and he's loooking around for who to pick on next and I'm like pointing at one of my friends telling the teacher to pick on him bcs hes not doing anything. And my teacher says (insert name of boy) I think *my govt name* is flirting with you. THE WAY 28 BOYS WHIPPED THEIR HEAD IN MY DIRECTION. I'm embarrassed to say this but I ducked under the table from embarrassment because all the boys, silly little spineless fishes start making noises, and I swear I felt the blood rushing to my face. I told the teacher he's on my block list, and any time he tried to speak to me I would ask my friend, the only other girl in "can you hear anything?" and her being an absolute sweetheart she would play along and be like "no". And my teacher had the audacity to laugh and ask how long am I gonna be on the block list? Silly little stupid me said until Monday- I should've said longer - and he was like that's fine I can live with that.
Fri 15th - CULTURE DAY was a SUCCESSS🥳🥳🥳. I mean it was so stressful because the way I was running between backstage (we had to commandeer the prayer room at school for the event) and the tech room (where all the sound and lighting equipment is) with my walkie-talkie was so embarrassing😭😭. Organising the music meant i got to listen to music from so many countries and it's safe to say Bollywood and Ethiopian music has made it to the top of the list. The amount of acts in the younger years talent show (we did 2 talent shows and fashion shows- 1 for yr 7-9, other for 10-13) made me laugh. But yes it was so hectic and I dropped my walkie talkie, and ughhh I wish I could go in depth- but I've not gotten anything done today, so I'll explain in another post.

Right now, economics is my priority, but I want to try and do as many past papers in all subjects. As this is easter weekend, my family celebrate eastert eh same as christmas, so it has been hectic.
