English language and literature paper questions

Hey so I was wondering, for english language and literature, are we allowed to plan on the additional pages for questions and then put a straight line through ( cross it out like the instructions on mock suggests) to cancle it? Or would this be considered doodling/grounds of disqualification? You see , last mock I got super nervouse and it didn't help that they don't leave space to plan, so I ended up getting barley a rough 8 and 7 because of it. Asking as AQA GCSE student and have mocks in less than a week so I'd appreciate any quick replies!

It's totally fine to write a plan on the answer/extra space! Anything crossed out won't be marked - they're 100% expecting students to plan there, I think there's even an instruction on the paper to cross through anything you don't want marked specifically for that reason. If you scribbled all over the place they probably wouldn't be particularly happy, but just cross it out neatly and you'll be fine.
Tysm!! I really appreciate it!

What happens if I forgot to cross out the plan but I put a big line underneath it and on the top it says plan. Will I still get marked for it?
