What do they mean by “consistency” in studying term

I’m a year 12 and EVERYTIME I watch a video on how to study effectively they always say “study consistently” or “be consistent”. What does that word actually mean? 🙂

Not even necessarily something as formal as that. Just literally, do a little bit every day/every week (in whatever format(s) work for you). Even if it's just a small amount, incremental gains add up over time considerably!
