dual nursing degree

Hello everyone
I do HCA/Phlebotomy since 2022.
I want to study nursing in 2024 and with what I have learned, I can get a dual degree. adult and mental health nursing. Do you think it makes sense and is it difficult to do this?

Thank you so much

Hey GGsnr

Sounds like your full of ambition. Which is brilliant

Dual Reg courses usually require you to do a BSc Programme plus a further year for your second registration. The NMC is the registration and professional body for nurses. You should check you what the requirements are dual reg nurses

Hi! I was thinking of doing this for 2024 entry too, but from looking into it and talking to other people who do the course I realised it would be easier and better to register in just one field of nursing and then if you decide you wanted to do the other then you can do a postgraduate in the other field which gives you a chance to think if you want to go into the other field. The places for the dual course are very limited and it is more demanding, which is why I suggest the undergrad then postgrad! Good luck with whatever you choose.
