Advanced Higher Chemistry

Hi, i was just wondering how hard is advanced higher chemistry, and the project, because i am debating wether to take that or AH mechanics.

Compared to higher the course has a lot more to cover however it is relatively manageable if you can remember everything well. The only part of the course which is particularly challenging is the synthesis topic but that’s mainly as there is many reactions and reactants to memorise, otherwise the course is pretty manageable if you found higher easy.
For the project it really depends on what you do and how your schools let’s you choose, my school lets you choose from projects that have been completed in the past so you know they work ( my first project didn’t work at all though). The researching is pretty easy and you just need to be able to crack on and work hard to get the experiment done and write everything up.
