Congratulations!
Was there a specific format or anything in particular they were looking for in your interview?

Not really I suppose. They asked me to prepare a presentation about me which I had to present and then after that it was just asking me questions.

What’s the time frame they gave you to prepare for the interview?

Hey everyone! I got a call on Monday to say I was successful and I got a place on the apprentice scheme for this year, has anyone else heard anything yet? I want to see who I could be working with potentially.

Hello!
I'm going to be doing an electronic engineering degree apprenticeship this year not a software one but I have already got a place so I might be seeing you quite a bit! I got a call earlier in the week from someone who said there are only 3 electronic apprentices so I'm hoping to reach out to as many people in other disciplines as I can.

Hey, I'm at this exact point of my application process. Although this was quite some time ago, I want to ask if u have any tips for this interview and presentation, like questions you were asked or things u did that helped. If u can remember anything, I would be so thankful.

Hi! First of all well done for getting this far! Secondly, what site have you applied for, just curious?

In terms of the interview, mine was more of a chat and the interviewers asking questions based on the presentation I gave. I just spoke about me, my experience to date, hobbies, interests, etc in my presentation. It wasn’t anything too taxing or stressful to be honest. It’s more of a get to know you to make sure you’re the right character.

Good luck!!

Hi! Thanks so much for the response! I applied to the Luton site. What you've said about your interview takes away quite a bit of stress, and I'm now curious to know what apprenticeship you applied to? Also, If you don't mind me asking, what was your presentation about?I have no idea what to do for mine and I'm in need of some inspiration.

Oh, makes sense. I thought it was either some moderator or someone who stumbled upon it who also fit the criteria I guess.

I'm probably being a bit of a beg but, could you tell me what your presentation was about? I received two emails about my interview and both ask me to do something different for the presentation. I'm in need of inspiration yes, but also some clarity too lol.

Mine was just about me. My 5 greatest achievements, hobbies, skills, just stuff like that. It was only 10 mins.

Nice! thanks for your replies, I really appreciate it. I've gotten two emails. one asking for what you did and one asking for a presentation about a project. I haven't even started because i have no clue which one is the preferred option, and I'm too lazy to do both lol. I might start doing one for the achievements and stuff because i feel that would be easier to stretch to 10 minutes. Thanks again for your replies and what you said about how the interview went takes away a lot of stress. Although, that stress will probably return on the day of the interview lol.
