Course Open vs Closed

If a course is stated as open, does that mean the course is less saturated? Meaning that there are plenty of offers still available?

No it doesnt mean that. There are places available but how many nobody knows. It could be a couple it could be in the tens. At this stage most will already have applied so anybody applying is likely to get an offer if they meet the entry requirements.

As above - and it doesnt mean 'rubbish course', it means 'not enough applicants with the right grades yet', and typically will include 'hard to fill' courses like Languages, unusual subjects and subject combinations.
