Can I do 3 A-levels with a Level 2 BTEC qualification?

I've heard that BTEC level 2s are equivalent to 4 GCSES?? I'm wanting to do Enlgish Literature, English Language and Psychology A-Levels at a college, but since I don't have GCSE Psychology I'm unsure if I can. I have English Lang grade 6. The requirements I've seen say I need at least 5/6 GCSES but can Level 2 count? I'm confused!

I don’t think BTEC Level 2s are equivalent to 4 GCSES (but again I would check with your teachers). But I did to a BTEC at GCSE and it was equivalent to one GCSE.
As for psychology I wasn’t given the option at high school to do it, but I do know that it required a grade 5 or above to get into the course due to how the maths side is quite difficult to grasp at first.

I would recommend asking your teacher about your BTEC’s and see what they say and check with your college on what they want.

Hope this helps???
