When I was at school 2 students were arrested and prosecuted for setting off the alarms. Best bit was so they wouldnt have to sit an exam so not only did they get fined and community service they flunked a gcse!

Whenever we have drills we are ushered out of the school by the usherettes and escorted home

i hate it when people set the fire alarms off just to create havoc. When im in a bad lesson i dont mind but when its raining and freezing then i get angry. Is it just my school that people set the fire alarm off about 3 times a week or are most schools like this?

nope well in my school it's like once evry 3 months or once evry two weeks if there has been any burining in the school. But really I get kinda happy coz of it OUTA the boring lessons even if it's cold of hot if it's cold i grab all my belongongs what ever the teachers say. :aetsch:

Why, it's not illegal to set off fire alarms?

Becasue the fire service and police were caled they were arrested for wasting police time.

We had a fire yesterday, but the alarm didn't go off
How is it a 'fake drill'? It is a false alarm, not a drill. The latter are pre-planned and have a function.

Our school went through a phase where we had about 4 alarms a week - once twice in one day. :frown:
In our school the kids always set off the alarm at the start of break. How stupid is that?

My school had loads before the end of last year. Then they expelled the people who had been doing it. We haven't had any more

I had one in the middle of an A-level exam on turning points in physics. It went off for ages and eventually we were pulled out of the exam room and had to go sit outside for 5 minutes. I stil got 99% though

Thats happened a few times here. Luckey though I am right next to the thearte (the room we go to when there is a drill) so I can at least pull on some pants.

I'm just waiting for one in one of my frees when I've gone home without signing out :O
Yeah, me too. I sign out when going home but when I nip to the shop I don't, I really should but it takes an extra 5 minutes...

Dont talk to me about fire alarms. The silly girl in the room above me at college set the fire-alarm off yesterday with her boiling kettle. The words loud is an understatement. Its one of those high frequency piercing whistles. I swear I can still hear it now :frown:
 Eric! You've changed your user name!
