hello tsr, sorry I haven't posted for a while, I've been so busy.......
had a frankie mock- my ao1 was appalling but otherwise it was ok????
did pink kangaroo- idk if we're allowed to discuss it yet, I won't say much but I found it better than last year's one
am doing a chemistry mock at school for paper 1, it's a bit pointless tbh but my revision has been decent I think
plans
ok my initial ideas were actually bad so I will need to re-do two for the holidays. my theme is alien, and usually I like to do mixed media like sculpting for the final piece, but my teacher told me that for this project it would probably be better for me to do coloured pencil as it looks better which idm too much :/
more english revision
start bio past papers
FSMQ REVISION- we did a past paper in school and I had an existential life crisis, I'm not even joking lol
start geography even though I really don't want to.
other
do people actually like summer? I don't like it when it's too hot, I honestly like winter and wearing all of my hats and scarves lol

hii! I have a maths test coming up, so our school gives us revision sheets for that. on my own, I use drfrost(but I think you need a login for that), and past papers. I think that a lot of people use mathsgenie too, but I haven't gotten around to checking that out yet. basically I just pick topics I'm bad at and do questions on those. hope this helps!

omg today was a bit bad, I only did revision in my maths lesson and computer science lesson, but in maths it was a bit mid tbh. in the morning I did about 20 mins of physics. honestly I think I'm waiting for the easter holidays, trying to convince myself that I will do more revision then. I also did part of an engineering course on springpod which was good because I've left it for so long lol
hopefully tomorrow is more productive...

OMG I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THIS, SOZ GUYS🥴
so basically I took a break in the last week because I felt sooo dead, started having thoughts like 'oh I'm going to fail everything and not get into a good university'- basically catastrophising a lot.
now I have started hardcore gcse revision and am actually more or less keeping to a good timetable
I have 5 'lessons' a day, about 45 mins each- this is the max that I think I can actually do
I also did a workout IN THE MORNING which felt so weird and idk if I really liked it but I felt somewhat productive
currently I'm on 'break' and I've started an AIC essay, done a maths paper and am finishing a bio and chem paper- planning to try to finish the english and maybe something else?? flashcards or smth idk??
also:
happy easter!! we didn't really do much but I hope you guys did things that are more fun???
pinch punch first day of the month no returns tehe I felt like doing it
on another side note I realised it's april fools, I feel like I should prank my parents but I don't really have any good ideas.

tbh I hated the workout, I felt so hungry lol but then I didn't have to do anything for the rest of the day so I guess there are some pros???
lol I completely forgot about april fools, instead decided to start reading Oliver twist, which was fairly interesting

today was slightly less productive- I did some fsmq which was ok, also spent a lot of time on seneca doing physics electromagnetism and geography hazards. I will also probably do a chem past paper later, hoping to do more tomorrow although I don't want to burn out. I might finish art instead so that I don't have that hanging over me, also I want to try to maybe do some comp sci flashcards?? I guess today has been more of a learning day than a question day, hopefully I get everything that I want finished by the end of the holidays??
feeling a bit down about fsmq but I'll try to do enough practise, hopefully I can do every question soon??
Wow those are alot of sbj for those scores!! Msa

it's ok- in physics electromagnetism is haunting me, while in chem electrolysis is the bane of my existance- I'm noticing a trend loll. english it's going to be a hit or miss- in exams for lit I don't think I plan well and I panic and write some wacky stuff :/. on a more positive note I think I'm finally understanding electricity and in maths I got the hang of quadratic inequalities, for some reasons I did not understand them at all!!! how are you doing?

That’s good! Think of it as only having a few more weeks and you are done with it all….
Hmm, everything for me is generally ok. I kinda fumbled my last maths test. I want a 9 so badly as I know I am capable, but make dumb mistakes…
The 2 subjects I’m only really worried for is CS and English lit! I’ve been looking at my notes tho so hope it goes well

yh me too, how is your timing for maths? if you do everything very quickly you could just do the questions and then do them again with a different method to check for silly mistakes, I've started doing this and it helps me

ok so yesterday I didn't do much, did a bit of poetry for english lit but went for lunch with my mum so it wasn't a complete waste of time, also did some geography on seneca.
today was a bit better, now I've kinda lost motivation, trying to convinve myself that I MUST prepare, tbh it's going ok. I did some comp sci, a paper where I was 1 MARK off a 9, and that kinda irked me but then again it is an improvement. I keep forgetting protocols and secondary storage, flashcards are not working that well aaaaagh.
I also did a biology paper but I feel too lazy to mark it today.
did more poetry and some r&j
finished a bit of chemistry pp 2 I'd forgotten about
looking back I thought I did more, now realising I need to pick up the pace.............
