@AngryJellyfish what were your best and worst animes this spring and why? I just wish a current feedback, nothing else.

Good question! Not counting sequels, I would say my favourites at this stage are Shuumatsu Train Doko e Iku?, Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai and Kaijuu 8-gou, but there's not much between them.

Worst was definitely Dekisokonai to Yobareta Moto Eiyuu wa..., I can only recommend that to anyone who wants to laugh at a series with bad animation and worse writing.
I will inform myself later. Just give reports as usual and keep it up.

The summer is almost there and the spring says goodbye soon: what were your best and worst anime in this season? are you ready for the summer releases?

The best new series for me has been Kaijuu 8-gou, can't go wrong with a high budget action series, and the characters are fun too, though the plot isn't massively original.

If we count sequels, Boku no Hero Academia 7 probably beats it, but that's largely thanks to the 6 earlier series worth of character development.

Weakest of the season (that I'm still watching - it's likely that some of the ones I dropped or skipped entirely are far worse) is a close one, but right now, I'd give it to Sentai Daishikkaku for non-sequel. It is VERY similar to Kaijuu 8-gou, in almost every way except the main character's motives (which are actually the exact opposite!), but just not as good. I'm struggling to care about most of the characters, and the plot jarringly lurches from one place to another.

Sequel-wise, KonoSuba 3 is a comedy series that no longer makes me laugh... I don't know whether this season's writing is just worse than the first two, or whether my sense of humour has changed over the years, but I don't think I'll be watching series 4 if it gets one.

I'm almost ready for the summer anime, but I haven't looked into them in great detail yet - the plan is to post my summer preview thread next weekend, so I'll have more to say about them there!

Tag me when the summer thread was opened. I will come around sometimes to read some of the new releases and of course your recommendations.
