Sorry if I've misread it, but why is the moving in weekend a week before Induction Week? Is there nothing official scheduled in between those dates, and students are expected to explore Manchester?

Hi there, currently on the “room selection” page and there’s absolutely nothing there, is that due to processing after results and seeing what opens up?

Can we move in to halls on the Tuesday evening as we are away the weekend of moving in??

Hi, will there be any way to contact people in my flat before I move in? I remember something being briefly mentioned on the open day but so far I've only been invited to an announcements-only group and a long time ago I was sent an invite to unibuddy where the only chat I was part of was someone trying to sell me a freshers wristband. I can no longer find the invite email for unibuddy if that is supposed to be the method of communication.

Hi @aidna042 I believe there is an accommodation group chat that you'll be invited to soon, however most students have been communicating via Unibuddy. If you joined Unibuddy, you'll just need to log in again to regain access to your account. - Chloe

I cannot log in through the main webpage. It said to enter my email and my uni would be contacted to let me on but nothing happened.

Hi my daughter has booked parkway gate via the Mmu accommodation portal - should she have had an invite to a group chat from the uni? When we try to log into the starez portal now we just circle back round to the login page.
