What’s your take on this universities for Architecture courses

Hi,
When deciding between universities for architecture I would say have a look at the rankings, accreditations, campuses, as well as the locations and which would best suit you. Oxford Brookes is a top 10 UK university for Architecture & Built Environment, for both academic and employer reputation (QS World University Rankings by subject 2023), and is approved by RIBA, ARB, and LAM, and you’ll have RIBA Part I credentials when you graduate. So comparison of factors like these with other universities as well as the locations and other factors that matter to you will help your decision.
Good luck with your decision!

Ignore the comments about rankings - they are meaningless. Read the RIBA reports for both schools:

Hi there! It's great to hear that you are looking at your options and considering a path into Architecture!

Definitely, as both Noor and @normaw mentioned, RIBA accreditation and therefore the maintenance of these standards and teaching is a big factor when looking into degree programmes in Architecture🏗️🌁

If you prefer to look at University rankings, taking into account RIBA accreditation, try to focus on what's most important to you! These could be factors such as employability, campus location, cost of living in the city/on campus, and industry connections throughout your studies.😊

These don't always correlate smoothly to ranking classifications, but are mostly taken into consideration, and are relevant factors looking into the latter Parts of the RIBA Membership🧑*🎓

This might give you a bit more of an insight into what University's could offer to you, as well as options out there, including DMU😎

Everyone is different and has slightly varying priorities and preferences when it comes to University culture, location, teaching styles, support, and careers options - so it is a decision very individual to you!

I hope this helps a little. Best wishes!
