The screenshot from the Pearson grade calculator above (at the bottom of this post) shows the points per unit. Just identify the ones you took in your first year and add-up the points.

Hi, thank you I calculated them and I gain another two points😭 which means that I’m still two off☹️ thank you for the help though you have been such a diamond, I have one last question, is the points for a DDD fixed, or do they fluctuate it they could be 2 points less from last year?

You have summed the points from the grades / marks in the screenshot above to reach 105 marks, but said earlier that "I had gotten 107 at the end of the year". Is this because the 107 marks are after the resits you mentioned? Or does it suggest that something is amiss with the points I've calculated using your original marks?

The points for each of the overall grade thresholds are fixed and don't change each year. :frown:

It’s that it probably got 2 extra points from the extra marks that I had gotten from my re sits

hi, another question, do universitys look at how close you were ie the points that i was off? or do they not care about that and they soleley look at the grade that i got? so i look like a DDM student and not one that was close to a DDD

I'm sure I answered this question yesterday, but I don't see it - so I'll try again.

Universities will have no clue as to the points you obtained and will therefore have no ability to differentiate between someone who was at the bottom or top of a grade. In the same was as they won't know if an A level candidate just scraped a grade A or was one mark off an A*.

This is because the exam boards forward your grades to UCAS, which forwards them to your firm and insurance. Your points / marks / percentages are not supplied to the unis.

For BTECs, I believe the individual unit grades are supplied, as well as the overall grade.
