Just got a call from the director who interviewed me, received good feedback.
They said I ‘passed’ the final interview stage, but I was unsuccessful in actually securing the role as there was a candidate with better experience. So really competitive process. Similar to vid interview, you’ll be told if you pass, but it’s not guaranteed you’ll get an offer.
I was also asked if I wanted to be considered for another apprenticeship, but I already started a new one this week though for the same exact role at a different firm lol.
You guys should be hearing back soon! This was for degree level relationship management London☺️

is it only one apprentice per role/location? thought theyd take on a few

What was the other apprenticeship for lol that they offered?
Yeah least your starting this week and instead of waiting till October.

I hate how that said you passed it but haven’t been selected for the interview basically a nice way of saying you were unsuccessful.

I didn't thihk they would be bothered about experience since it's an apprenticeship. What experience would they require, some that has already worked in a bank.

No clue, they’ve defo done it weird compared to other companies I’ve applied for. Like they say you’ve passed, but they won’t progress you further. Yeah I’m glad I started something new and didn’t wait on NatWest : )

He didn’t mention a specific role. Just asked “do you want to be considered for a different apprenticeship role…” then I said no, and that I’d already started a new role.

No clue on that last bit honestly, would’ve preferred it if they just said the competition was tight. But everything happens for a reason.

yhh got a call by the person who interviewed me, rejection. I would’ve preferred if they emailed me the rejection first then ask for a call but its minor, we move

Not sharing any questions.
Yes, it’s easier compared to others, and you have more than enough time to prep.
They’re situational questions, just keep in mind their core values and you’ll be fine.
Refer to previous examples from school work, part time jobs etc where necessary.

lol what a nerd
