contestable market 🤔
It’s getting a bit too close now, just hope they don’t do a 2019 and make it on the edge of macro. Hope its all very clearly micro so its difficult to stray over to macro

yes just tried that paper, especially that inequality question, so hard to not talk about macro and even worse the extract was on taxation. I just end up talking about general econ and its so hard

I did analyse all the past paper from the last 6 years

Government intervention was the most common

These are the topic that haven't came in a long time
Contestable market , perfect competition , tax/subsidies, elasticity
Could perfect competition come up as a 25 marker or not?
As on the spec it isn’t an evaluate bullet point but all the other market structures are

I swear there was no 25 markers on labour market in the 2023 paper so in 2024 they probs will but idk

theyve done oligopoly questiosn the past 4 years so doubt well get another
Feel like they might ask about merit and demerit goods and causes and consequences of government failure
do you think that for the 25 markers?
