My paper 1 did not go as well as i expected it to, if i'm being honest, quite bad 😔.
Currently I'm going through content, reading the specification and i'll start past papers soon.
Could anyone give some advice on how i can save myself to get at least a B , because honestly, an A is down the drain after my first paper😭.

i'm sure you may have done better than you think, we tend to fixate on things we think we did bad and we forget that we've done good too

I need to prepare for P2, ive finished all the past papers and revised the content quite a lot, im thinking either i solve some OCR papers, legacy papers or go over the ones ive already done, any suggestions?

OCR is good , wjec is also pretty good . By legacy papers do you mean old spec ? If not there is loads of old spec questions on pmt which are really good.
If not look through your mistakes on your last papers and see what went wrong and if they’re the same mistakes throughout the papers.

also i would re do some of the earlier papers you did to make sure you dont repeat mistakes etc.

I would prob do 2023 if you can cuz last year was quite hard. for the fields you probably could do that in 5 days make sure you do plenty of questions on it tho cuz even if you get the content the questions are very weird sometimes. I don't know how much you've done so i couldn't tell you what grade that would get but if you work effectively it could def be like a C at least idk tho.

yh nah im not gonna do 2023 cuz it was my mock paper and we already went thru it in class. so should i just sjip out on 2018?

tysm bro i needed the reassurance. is 5 days enough to quickly go thru fields tho? and also i plan to do 6 past papers in total as im not gonna do 2023 and 2018 as scienceshorts(youtuber) didnt do a walkthrough on his youtube channel. so doing just the 6 past papers should be enough right?. if i do all of that, what grade do u reckon i could achieve?

Bro if anything you’re more likely to get anything upwards from a B!
That’s an astonishing level of work and definately you should be able to do fields in 5 days. I’d suggest you use Mr Turnbull’s physics on YouTube for that, his explanations are really good and he has playlists for each individual fields. If you aim for one a day you definitely will finish in under 5 days!

alr thanks so much man, and if i finish off the content and do the 6 past papers (i dont think i have time for the other 2 past papers). that will definitely guarantee me at least an E right ?

for 3A i just made flaschards on all the practical methods and how to calculate the uncertainties and errors. I will probably watch the scienceshorts vids on the practicals too closer to the time.

ok thank you for this! on your flashcards do you tend to just write the method or also things like graphical methods. i dont do a level maths and there seems to be a lot of logs graph related stuff that comes up so just wondering
