linking photosynthesis with biodiversity?? but biodiveristy is all about genes and different alleles for selection and survival, not so much growth of cell walls and respiration

for biodiversity plants have more yield which increases the number of plants in a species so this increases species richness which increases biodiversity and more animals have a wider variety of food so this further increases biodiversity and then talk about the importance of biodiversity

I thought so but she didn't seem to include. you definitely just need them to be separate points on the specification. maybe if in importance you linked to a year two topic like doing DNA and talking about recombinant DNA technology and saying how thats important but im not 100% sure tbh

I'm going over all the content again and learning the practicals and planning possible essays and then doing the 2023 past paper,then either answering old past papers that i've done or answering new ones

do you guys think its worth it to spend time practicing predicted essays at this point or would it just be better to plan them or practice individual paragraphs

for p2 respiration didn't come up at all, polymerase chain reaction, resting potential, osmoregulation, the eye, pacinian corpuscles, epistasis, taxes or kinesis, stem cells, the phosphorus cycle

eilidhcraigie and remorse below have some stuff i missed out so check theirs to be safer :smile:

going over what didnt come up mostly, then a quick recap of EVERYTHING for the essay. got 4 exams this week mind, so it'll have to a take a backseat

yeah there was no immunity on p1. as well as your list there was no control of blood glucose concentration or respiration on p2

oh mate, i agree absolutely. maybe try planning out some of the essays under exam conditions. maybe bulletpoint any relation of the topics you can think of to what it says in the question (easier said than done) if you struggle with the content part of it, maybe try to maximise your marks on the essays structure. i find it easier to break it down into bullet points and brainstorm ANY relations.
