ok so for these types of questions (serial dilutions), the formula you need to know is:

conc before x volume before = conc after x volume after

before and after is in relation to before and after the dilution.

in the table, they’ve said that 5cm3 of the total volume is the 0.6moldm3 maltose solution and 10cm3 is going to be water. This gives you a total volume of 15cm3.
Your concentration BEFORE the dilution is 0.6, you’re trying to find the concentration AFTER the dilution.

so, you have these values:
conc before= 0.6
volume before=5
conc after= ?
volume after= 15 (bc you add 10cm3 of water to the 5cm3 maltose solution)

substitute and rearrange:

0.6 x 5 = 15 x c
3 = 15c
0.2=c
