Foundation with Mechanical Engineering advise

Hi, I got an offer from UM for a foundation in mechanical Engg, but I am unsure if studying at Machester University means taking a lot more pressure as compared to other, a bit lower-ranked universities like Nottingham, Lancaster, and so on. I don't want to get lost in a pool of extraordinarily brilliant students and feel demotivated. So I wanted to know, how is the environment from an academic perspective?

There is support for everyone. Not everyone is a super genius, everyone has their flaws. You will not get lost in any pools, don't worry. A lot of stuff is group work as well, so you'll have people to talk to who can help you.
