anyone have any tips for key points i should be revising today for CSMP. I always worry and then forget the information in the exam so im nervous 🙁

Structural economic change and place profiles is what I am thinking could come up for the 16 marker.

idk but i heard someone predict gender inequality can come up but you could write about how national agencies try to take into account both men and women when providing humanitarian assistance or something like that, if that makes sense?

Gender equality isn’t even a part of P&B

I highly doubt that there would be a question of gender inequality in powers and borders, since it's not really in the spec. The most you could really mention it is through the flow of ideas (eg UN peacekeeping troops being specifically female to encourage women to break trad gender roles) or injustices against women (eg sexual violence as a result of conflict)

how'd we find it?
I did places, trade and Human rights and wasn't too bad.

Guys I missed the last 16 marker what does this mean for my grade overall?
I didn't do it on purpose, there was like 18 mins left for the exam and I realised I missed the CSMP 16 marker and I still hadn't done the PandB 16 marker so I just chose to do the CSMP 16 marker

I wasn't a fan of that

the CSMP 16 marker about social inequality was the worst for me. the wording was not straightforward so I decided to use the case study of 2 local contrasting locations instead of Jembatan Besi, and Northwood which was used by most other people in my class. how did you guys do?

Predictions for this paper:
17 marks split across Migration (with 8 marker)
16 marker on Human Rights
CSMP 16 marker - Impact of structural economic change (e.g Birmingham)
I've seen people discuss place making/rebranding, I think its unlikely to come up as it came last year (2023) with reference to a case study (e.g Barcelona).
Migration 8 marker - Impacts of migration in LIDCs (e.g Laos)?
Human rights 16 marker - Lot of focus on global/national governance in LIDC case study (e.g Afghanistan), so gender inequality? Not sure though...
The only reason I predict the spread of marks across Migration/Human rights is due to this possible pattern:
2018: Human rights - 16 marker (1)
2019: Human rights - 16 marker (2)
2020: Migration - 16 marker (1)
2021: Migration - 16 marker (2)
2022: Migration - 16 marker (3)
2023: Human rights - 16 marker (1)
2024: Prediction of Human rights - 16 marker (2)
*Can be applied to other options on the paper of course
But they could do what they want its OCR and theyre annoying 😂

quite accurate apart from CSMP

Anyone who did power and borders, is holding ceasefires and allowing the free movement of goods and people between borders strategies in the short term for the global governance of territorial integrity?

I didn’t even distinguish between the two, I only defined each one and then mentioned the threats to TT and sovereignty in mali.
