I think you’ve got the right answer I’ve seen 8990 a lot being said I think you’ve gotten the units wrong that’s all, but 3/4 marks is still very good

for question 5
a) progesterone and oestrogen
b) prevent ovulation by oestrogen inhibiting FSH and LH in high idk how to explain it and progesterone also inhibits FSH
i actually can't remember then omg
for the 6 marker i wrote about ivf and clomifene therapy
for question 3
a) just how to use a quadrat
b) i put light intensity with a light meter and temp with a thermometer i couldn't think of another i knew the equipment for so i wrote soil fertility with tests for nutrients
c) for the parasitism one i didn't know what to say really the mistletoe feed off of the trees nutrients, the tree is harmed but the mistletoe benefits
d) nitrates for proteins and amino acids then for growth i barely knew that so it was a bit naff
for question 2?? idk the order
a) hair structure increases SA:V ratio
idk if this was a) one was swelled up w no gaps
between each cell
one had the chloroplasts in the middle, other didn't
b) anomaly at 15% overall trend height increases as conc increases but this height was lower than the 10%
d) bro tbh i waffled about there being more respiration because there was more glucose so more ethanol to react w the washing up liquid to form more bubble
idk) i didn't rly know what how to make a control i said use the same apparatus bc ive seen that on a mark scheme somewhere

For C) o think it’s a mutualistic relationship between the tree and mistletoe and they both benefit off of eachother

no it did say mistletoe was a parasite that grew on trees so it is a parasitic relationship im 99% sure.
