Icl, this is the easiest paper of the three. Atleast for Crime and Punishment. Sometimes they like to throw spanners at you, but edexcel is honestly tooooo lenient.
Like some of the exemplars my teacher wouldn't give half the marks to. Its also a reason I dont like this board as its too lenient, so grade boundries are insane, and if u get one question messed up, you lose a whole grade. Like for c and P, you can lose 8 marks before you drop a grade, so thats the source question. And thats it. Smh edexcel fix yourself.
Also btw, c and p is much better than medicine. medicine can get very dull sometimes.
Any questions on C and P, especially 1000 - present, feel free to ask.

How do you revise for medicine?

Remember, this is what we have to do for Paper 1:-
Historic Environment (Section A)

1.

Describing features (4 marks)

2.

Source Utility (8 marks)

3.

Source Interrogation (4 marks)

Your topic (Section B)

1.

Similarities/ Differences (4 marks)

2.

Causation (12 marks)

3.

'How far do you agree?' (20 marks)

How long would you recommend spending on each question? I always struggle with time management :frown:(

I need help with the Cold War importance and narrative analysis question and how did u revise content?

I revised content through flashcards on quizlet. For the narrative question this is my advice:

Try and pick out three factors, in chronological order ofc. Explain the importance of them and then how they led to the next factor. Make sure you link it back to the question though!

For the importance of question it’s just 2x PEEL.

Could you mark my 16 marker pls for GCSE EDEXCEL History Paper 3: The USA. It's on Vietnam War
Hi, I saw your dm but it wouldn’t let me reply idk why. I would give your 16 marker 15/16- it is top band but here’s some tips for improvement. Expand your analysis, sometimes it reads as if you could have explained things further but then you stop and move onto the next point too quickly. Quality of analysis is so key to get that 9 in history. I would also advise evaluating the interpretation within each para although this was just personal preference 🤷🏾*♂️

Here are my predictions for crime and punishment: section a: Whitechapel
1)give 2 features of anarchism (socialism came last yr)
2)give to features of political beliefs in Whitechapel (aka socialism and anarchism)
3)give 2 features of immigration (Jews irish)
So very similar for them 3
4)possibly a weird one where give 2 features of alcohol
Sources: 1) there hasn’t been one on JTR since 2021 that too not a lot of ppl took the paper in 2021 Cus of Covid so it makes sense that they repeat him as a sources question but for him revise the attitudes of the public on JTR or the effects he had on violent crimes rather then failure of police to catch him (Cus that came in 2021 also policing failures has came 3 times)
2)if not jtr then I predict it to be to do with immigration (like I said in a) this topic rarely came once in 2018 that’s it
-note: they might not put this on due to controversy with everything going on in the world with Jews
12 marker:
1)definitely something on how the church hindered justice in thirteenth century (never came)
2)explain why there was an increase in witchcraft /anything to do with witches or mathew Hopkins
3) could see it being abolishment of death penalty (but unlikely)
16 markers X2:
1)conscientious objectors case study (revise this NOW!!!! It’s barely been tested by edexcel) very likely
2)if for the first 16 marker it’s not conscientious then I predict the gunpowder plot as a 16 marker (could also be 12)
3)if they choose 19th century then the only one that hasn’t came up is modern prevention of crime
4)possibly “the king was the most important factor in law how far do u agree”
Note: do NOT revise Robert peel or local community as they both came last yr so very unlikely

I need help on the essay structure and what key content I need to prioritise revising

For the source 8 marker I used Point (briefly explain why the source is useful), Inference, Contextual knowledge, Evidence from the source, Provenance and then repeat this for the other para

For the 12 marker 3x PEEL

16 marker - Intro, 3x PEEL but make sure to evaluate throughout and explain why the factor you have chosen is most important, conclusion

If you really struggle with time my biggest tip would be to prioritise the 12 and 16 markers.
