Does anyone think we need to know dates specifically?

Hi, I saw your dm but it wouldn’t let me reply idk why. I would give your 16 marker 15/16- it is top band but here’s some tips for improvement. Expand your analysis, sometimes it reads as if you could have explained things further but then you stop and move onto the next point too quickly. Quality of analysis is so key to get that 9 in history. I would also advise evaluating the interpretation within each para although this was just personal preference 🤷🏾*♂️

thanks

Maybe try and mention the century? Like mention that the event took place in the 19th century or 18th century(for example) rather than specifying actual dates.

Or you can say for example: “..therefore rising scientific advancement and ideas led to the eventual decriminalisation of witchcraft in the 1700s” as opposed to writing: “…decriminalisation of witchcraft in 1735”.

Or even (if u do crime and punishment like me) just mention the time period like Medieval , Early Modern, Industrial & Modern periods.

I would try to add like some dates even if it’s just once or twice bc it is history and idk if they would mark you down or not but it’s better to be on the safer side. But if you simply CANT remember any in the moment , don’t add any because if you guess your writing might not be accurate to the time period they are asking.
Good luck all, you've worked so hard, hope it goes well.

Yea definately
What structure do u use for 16 markers for your thousand year long module??
And what do u write about in your intro and conclusion and how do u do assessment??
Sorry if I'm asking too many questions it's just getting too close to exams and I'm desperate for advice😭

intoduction saying whether you agree or diagree w the statment imclude context and criteria (what your gonna talk abou in ur 3 paras) and then you do 2 agree and 1 disagree conclusion you say ur opinion and why u literally can just use ur intro and say why you think what u think

Icl, this is the easiest paper of the three. Atleast for Crime and Punishment. Sometimes they like to throw spanners at you, but edexcel is honestly tooooo lenient.
Like some of the exemplars my teacher wouldn't give half the marks to. Its also a reason I dont like this board as its too lenient, so grade boundries are insane, and if u get one question messed up, you lose a whole grade. Like for c and P, you can lose 8 marks before you drop a grade, so thats the source question. And thats it. Smh edexcel fix yourself.
Also btw, c and p is much better than medicine. medicine can get very dull sometimes.
Any questions on C and P, especially 1000 - present, feel free to ask.

how on earth do u wanser the follow up quetsion on the witchapel half ive tried doing it so many times it makes no sense to me i always over analyse it

Good luck everyone remember my predictions for crime and punishment are:
Whitechapel: immigration / political views(anarchism)/or jtr
Section b: conscientious objectors/how did church hinder justice/anything about witches/gunpowder plot/or the king was the most important factor in law enforcement how far do u agree
