I'm not entirely sure, but based purely on what hasn't come up in a few years/at all:

•

If theme 1 comes up - Hundred flowers campaign, defeating CCP opponents, structure of CCP/government (has never come up)

•

If theme 2 comes up - Communes/collectivisation, GLF (Theme 2 is tricky to predict though because it shows up almost every year so I feel like it could be anything, they could ask a general question on it rather than ask about a specific plan or policy)

•

If theme 3 comes up - Reasons for launching the CR, eradicating political/class enemies, maybeeee winding it down??? although that was a source in 2021 which is still somewhat recent

•

If theme 4 comes up - Healthcare or education or culture, none of which have come up yet

I know that doesn't narrow it down too much but I think it's better to be safe than sorry and look over more things just in case, I just eliminated things that have been tested relatively recently.

the essay questions were:
how significant was the spread of revolutionary activity in the russian empire during the 1905 revolution?
how accurate is it to say tat the weaknesses associated with foreign intervention were primarily responsible for the defeat of the whites in the russian civil war?

not sure what the source question was tho
