Does anyone have predictions or revision tips for Germany 1871–1990: united, divided and reunited? Please!

Hey this looks really helpful but I don’t get what “themes” your looking at did u get them from the spec or could you name them please

Its the bredth part. The spec breaks it down into 2 themes. Changing relationship between crown and nobilty: "overmighty subjects". Changes in the sinews of power.

I'm really feeling the burnout with revision for this paper. My last 6 exams I've felt fine and on track but this paper is always the worst for me compared to the other two history ones 😭

Thank you so much mate. So that's QA - Yorkist Divided 78 - 85, QB - Crisis of 1399-1405 and then QC - Coping with Challenge - disorder and local rivalries and royal income. Obviously not 100% but maybe last minute focus on those subjects is good. I think QA looks quite convincing. GL everyone

Looked deeper, never been a question on princes in the tower on any question. So in QA that seems like a good topic that'll come up on sources since there is lots of opinions on what happened.

Then for QB, never been one on Cornish Rebelion, probably gonna relate back to how big a threat that was.

Then for QC, gonna be parliament, last time that came up was 2018. Aswell, local disorder came up in 2022, so probably gonna be about disorder.

tbh I prefer this over russia 😭

I would if I were doing anything except british experience of warfare😭 It's all old english men fighting other old men about lord knows what and making so many mistakes but still somehow winning. And we have to know different military technology and finance for the breadth section, i just cba 😭😭

for empire, im praying that India (maybe something to do with clash of cultures?) comes up as a source and then Canada as section B. Most of my teachers have been saying it’s likely for them to come up in this paper. If it doesn’t then I will actually walk out TT

I think the source will be related with sati and thagi.Additionally,India hasn’t been in a source question since 2018

ok that def sounds worse than russia 😭 I do the wars of the roses and its lowk interesting. I prefer it over russia bc at least I don't have to remember random grain output figures and 10000000 5 year plans. I genuinely have trauma from revising Russia

Yeah my class was really tight for time as well, we were being taught witches by our teacher who hadn't taught it before so we spent wayyy too long on Pendle and North Berwick and barely any on the later case studies which were harder to grasp... I don't think we covered all the sceptical writings but that still seems easier to go over compared to science. What did you do for paper 1 and 2?

i did britain transformed and USA conformity and challenge - tbh witches is my favourite paper cos i'm not a modern history fan 😭 what about you? I hope paper 3 goes well on tuesday!

Yeah russia was really hard and had a lot of random figures to remember, thankfully we never have to do it again 🙏🙏
