Kings Maths School

I am looking to apply to the KCLMS and was wondering how hard and competitive it is to get in and how hard was the interview was.

I got an offer from kings and I'm gonna go there in September.
The admissions test was a little competitive since there were loads of ppl there and hard but they don't rlly care about u getting the right answer, they're more interested in how u think and how good u are at problem solving. To prepare u can do olympiad and UKMT questions. And the interview was fine, there are 2 parts, the maths interview and the personal interview. In the maths interview a teacher teaches u a new method to do a question and then u basically apply that method to other questions and in the personal one they just ask u questions like what u wanna do at uni, what other schools u have applied to and stuff.

In my mocks I got a 9 in maths, combined sci, both eng and religion and an 8 in history in french
But I think as long as u get a 9 in maths, a 7 in sci and a 5 in everything else you'll be fine cuz they care more about the admissions test and interview anyway

Yea I applied with my yr10 mocks as well cuz my yr11s were in december but I had to show them my december mock grades when I had my interview

In ukmt or the admissions test?? We don't know how much we got in the admissions test but in the ukmt in yr10 I got around 95 I can't remember what I got exactly😭. But as well as ukmt u can use olympiad questions as well cuz it isn't multiple choice.

im ngl i sat it this year and got like 65😭
