i'm guessing your teacher has given you this assumption of 70+ for an A*, last I remember it was like 72 or something insane. But what do you expect the grade boundaries to be like? Open to others too.

Does anyone know when to use a paired T-test or will they tell you to do it in the exam?

If the data is paired and the differences are normal

last year it was 71 per paper for an A*. So far, paper 1 this year was harder than last year, so im assuming itll be around 69 for an A* if they keep that difficulty up.

how was it guys, personally wasn’t horrible but could’ve been better. butchered the approximation question and ran out of time for the power. i used the wrong cv for the chi squared q aswell. probably looking at mid 50s-60.
