What is UCL’s Earth Science BSC like?

I was accepted for the course a few days ago with my predicted AAA but seeing as my actual a levels are film drama and geography i’m rather surprised i got in as it stated two science a levels preferred.

I’m super interested in the geology and ecology aspects of the course + was hoping to take the paleo biology pathway for that reason but i can’t find anything online from students talking about their experience on the course or day-to-day life.

If anyone knows what it’s like i’d appreciate any details ranging from the course content itself to the student life associated with UCL. society wise i was thinking of joining the kpop/dnd/anime societies (geeky, sorry) and i’d also appreciate any info on those as well ^^ thanks so much!

i also got accepted there but the course would be geography and environmental science which had too many human modules for my liking 🤷🏻*♀️

omgg off topic but which kpop groups do u listen to? If i don't firm ucl i'll probably end up going all the way to Lancaster to study physical geography (i applied for msci + a year abroad but got offered ABB if i firm it,, but might end up insuring and applying for the BSc if i get ABB + firm UCL's AAB) lol but their kpop soc looks SO fun ! someone on tiktok who dropped out of earth science said that most ppl in the course also did geography as their science so i'm less worried about feeling out of my depth there ^^ waiting for ucl to send out an offer holder day or something so i can visit and get a better idea of what it'll be like lol - hazards is def my fav a level unit (very sad my sixth form doesn't do ecosystems under stress) but i' interested in pursuing ecology n geology so would likely take the earth science paleobiology route !
