Vetting checks

I have applied for Met police. What is this vetting exactly? What exactly they will check? When they are saying checking referencing what they exactly means?(Kind of worry cause I have 6 points on license) What a vet check is? Thanks for help in advance

Which level vetting is it that they have asked for, because different levels have different requirements. If it helps, I have SC clearance with 6 points on my licence

It is about become an police officer

From a quick Google search, it says you need a RV vetting clearance. So Google that and see how they look at motoring points.

Had this previously waited 6 months to get it all checked, out of interest was anyone you put down on your vetting from overseas?

hello, i have dual citizenship so 25 years of my life i lived in another country so i am thinking maybe this is the reason..? also i know many people vetting are cancelled due to recruitment freeze and my one still shows in progress.. i have no idea what is going on, it is now 8 months .
