Query regarding student finance
Hi, I’m from Northern Ireland (lived there for 25 years), and previously studied an undergraduate degree at a university there. After graduating I moved to Spain. In September of this year (2024) I’m starting a PGCE in Primary Education with a university in England, and I intend to apply for a student loan.
My query is: do I apply to Student Finance in Northern Ireland (I was previously ordinarily resident there before moving to Spain) or Student Finance England (where I’ll be studying). Any help that can be provided on this matter is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Cormac,
Will you be moving permanently to England or are you still classing Northern Ireland as home and living there (outwith term dates) or when you graduate? Thanks, Jason
