NTU or EDGE Hill delema pls help

I received 2 unconditional offers from Edge hill and Ntu but I'm unsure which is best for me. Edge hill has a nice campus whilst ntu is a city campus which I'm not too sure if I'd like but the reputation of ntu is alot more recognized than edge hill where I'm unsure if I'll find a job easily with edge hill and lastly ntu is situated in a city where edge hill is in a town meaning I won't be able to access alot of shops. Can someone pls advise me which one would be the best option for someone who is going for business management and is an international student. Thank you.

Hi,

I don't do either of these degrees and am not an international student so I can't give any advice on this.
Firstly I would recommend seeing whether you can do any virtual tours of both the universities to get an idea of what it looks like. Edge Hill is a campus university meaning everything is in one place (the accommodation, department buildings, library, gym etc.) this makes everything much easier and you know most things are a 10-15 min walk away.

Edge Hill is based in a little town called Ormskirk you are right with there not being access to a lot of shops however there are lots of different pubs, restaurants and cafes. There aren't any clothes shops unless you wish to buy things from charity shops. There is a lot of option however for your food shops such as Lidl, Aldi, Iceland, Morrisons and M&S. Some other more known shops include Boots, Superdrug, Waterstones and B&M for example.

If you are wanting to visit a smaller city you could go to Preston or if you are wanting a bigger city with more option I would recommend visiting Liverpool. You can get a train from Ormskirk to both these places from the train station taking around 30-35 mins.

I would recommend maybe talking with Leo as they are doing International Business which may be of interest to you if you wish to know a bit more about the department. If you are wanting some information on life at Edge Hill as a international student I would recommend messaging Amadee and they will maybe be able to give you some information on this.

There is also an FAQ answer on studying the Business Management degree at Edge Hill linked here.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you have anymore questions
