doing placements in the UK when i do uni abroad

so im doing uni outside the UK, but i want to do my nursing placements in the UK (i live there) but im not sure how im meant to go about it. my uni only provides help if you're doing your placements in their country, so im at a loss. does anyone know how i should go about this?

You won’t be able to. You’re studying outside of the uk, so your course will be aligned with the nursing regulator for whichever country that is, just as our course is aligned with the NMC’s standards.

At the most, I imagine you might be able to arrange an elective placement for a week or two in the UK.

Out of interest, if you live in the UK and want to practice here, why aren’t you studying at a university here?

for my uni, they recommend people that aren't from their country to do their summer internships in their home country, and almost everyone goes back so i know its possible to do my summer placement in the UK, im just not too sure how to go about it seeing as ive found 0 help online

and id rather do my bachelors in another country just because ive heard so many bad things about doing nursing in the UK, like the insane amount of placement hours you have to complete while juggling your studies too. i want to do my masters in england though, thats why i was hoping to do my summer placements there just so i have some background of experience here.
