Cardiff Met - Primary Education with a QTS

Hi!!
I’m hoping to attend Cardiff met in September doing the primary education degree. I’m really just looking for other people who have applied to Cardiff doing this course. I’m sure we are all in the same boat, up to university, not knowing anyone.

I am not going to Cardiff to study Primary Ed with QTS, but I just wanted to let you know (you might already know, haha) that you can often find Facebook groups that students have created for specific universities and courses. You can join these groups and start making friends that way.

When I started at universities, I joined a few groups, starting with Facebook. Then, I would be sent links to WhatsApp chats, etc.

hi Anastasia! thank you so much for replying back to me! I did know this but I can’t find specific groups for primary education I have found groups for Cardiff Met Applicants 2024/2025 but not from a specific primary education group!

Hello, we are still accepting applications for Primary Education with QTS course from September 2024.

The enrolment week will be on Monday 23rd September 2024, and you will be able to meet your cohort during the week.

You can post about it in the Cardiff Met Applicants 2024/2025 group, so that other Primary Ed with QTS students can join it.

Hi Anastasia. The campus at Cyncoed is so compact and focussed on just a few subject areas, you’ll quickly find your people in September even if you haven’t before. And the welcome from the uni is really warm. There’ll be groups set up probably closer to results time. But really don’t worry about having not connected yet - you’ll find settling in there so easy.
