Info on UCAT

Do students generally write UCAT after A levels or during the A level year, just after AS?...and when should one actually start focusing on UCAT?

mostly unaware of the information as an international candidate 😅

The UCAT is sat between the first and second year of A levels so yes just after AS. People usually do it in the summer holidays. You could start looking at the UCAT now to familiarise yourself with what is going to come up and start practicing after exams that you have going on

Usually just after AS. Booking opens in early June, and you can take the exam from late July-mid September. Most people take theirs in late August or early September, so they can maximize preparation time

As above, make sure you check the dates and you actually book yourself a UCAT slot early on - dont just 'leave it until later' as slots go quickly. There are plenty of good UCAT 'help' books available with practice questions and helpful tips. Use these to practice like crazy over the summer - Amazon.co.uk : ucat
