Hiya and welcome to gyg!

Your grades are great but if you want to push them up to 8's and 9's I would say Past paper practice at this point and LOTS OF IT, so you can get a feel for the exams and what theyre asking you because the questions are usually quite generic. Then go through the past papers and the parts you struggled on, work on them with your textbook and then do another past paper untill you know the topic.

For business I recommend learning key definitions and advantages and disadvantages of things such as a sole trader. For two mark questions define it but try give an example of that thing. For 10-12 mark questions define what they are asking you then continue to answer the question. Just always define things. What is your exam board?

If you don’t mind me asking, what can I do to achieve a grade 9 in media? I’m not really sure how to revise for it and I really struggle with timing. I’m currently getting sevens which is good but my class as a whole are doing quite poor so I’m not sure if that’s why I’m getting sevens

I would just watch Mrs Fisher, but I would say thats not even necessary, you just need to have some notes ready for your music video, websites etc. Even if you dont, its very easy to come up with things on the spot and still get a really good grade

Thanks! But my main question is, should I still do past papers if there is still content that I have gaps in?

If that’s the case learn it and then do practise questions for it. Good luck

welcome to GYG
100% agree with what others have suggested, past papers will put you in a very good position in the lead up to exams !

If you feel as though there are gaps then it would be best to revise those parts, and then maybe go over the spec to make sure you arnt missing anything. Then after that go back to the whole exam questions and past papers

I'm not very good at the sciences myself so I can't give great advice on those, but i did get 9s in my recent mock results for english lang and lit. For english lang, just know the structure of each question really well and remember to go from the beginning to end of the source for coherency, and analyse the heck out of each quote you use, just keep asking 'so what', what does the author achieve using this simile or semantic field. For the writing, try to improve your vocab, and you can do this by learning some fancy phrases and words, and just implementing those everywhere you can. Remember to plan your writing pieces since there are many marks available for accuracy and content. In english lit you're fine so just keep doing what you're doing. To boost productivity you could set really small but effective tasks, such as, make 20 flashcards for biology, or do all the even questions on a maths paper. Preventing burnout is difficult as you are going to feel tired either way. I just keep reminding myself that its summer soon so.
