Maintenance loan

An odd question out of curiosity but what will happen if I put that my mother is single when applying for a maintenance loan? Will slc find out about it?

My mother is not single and has a partner living with us

We need proof your mum is single. If she has a partner living with her, then we will require their details to support your application.

Another question

The maintenance loan is payed back the same way as tuition loan i.e 9% of amount that's over £25k?

For that query I would advise to contact the repayments team. Unfortunately Repayments are not on the student room and you would need to either call them or contact them on Social Media. You can view your balance here https://www.gov.uk/sign-in-to-manage-your-student-loan-balance
