sutton trust summer schools

I applied for one in january, and i got this email after the application was verified.
“Your application will be sent to your university in mid-March
If you meet our grades threshold and one other criteria you will be invited to join the STO Core Programme on Sutton Trust Online in March”
I meet quite a few of the criteria and the grades threshold, but I have not been sent anymore emails and it’s now april. Has anyone who has applied heard anything yet?

Hey, I applied for one in late February and have not got into the online program yet. Should I be worried?

Are you sure you met the grades and another one of the requirement?

Yeah, there weren't any specific grade/subject requirements but I got all A's so I dont think there would be an issue with that. And I do meet another requirement so idk why I couldnt get into it. But, if I dont get into the online program does that mean I wont get a place in the summer school?

I got into the online programme

Hi I just received a letter saying I got into the STO. I didn’t even realise I applied for it and have no clue what it means or what’s going to happen??

I'm also really confused because I emailed to ask why I hadn't received an email into the STO and was told I was no longer eligible for it, however today I received an email saying I had been accepted to the STO. I don't know if this means I'm still being considered for the summer school or not?

i applied in january as well and got an email on 21st march saying i got in the STO. i'd also recommend emailing them just to check

Thx for replying I haven't received an email yet so I'm a bit worried now I might email aswell to see if they can tell me anything. I don't think this means I'm still beng considered for a summer school tho as I applied for Nottingham and they have already got bk to me but u might be ig it just depends where ur applying. I wish they would give us some more info so ik what I've got myself into 😂 I'll let u know if I find anything out

I feel this so much omg, its like everyone is going through a completely different experience when we have all applied to the same program. Turns out they didnt send my application to my uni lol.

They are honestly so bad at organising this whole thing! Hopefully your application was sent eventually? How did you find out they hadn’t sent it?

I don't know if it has been sent but fingers crossed. I started having doubts when all my friends heard back from the university itself(all got rejected). Initially I thought maybe they only sent out emails rejecting people and waited but then decided to email the university and they told me they didn't receive my application. The uni contacted sutton trust and I got an invite to their online program today but I really hope I get into the residential too.
