applying for undergrad dentistry as a postgrad

basically im doing an integrated masters in chemistry
next year will be my last year
I have contacted the department of dentistry at my current uni and sent them my grades (AAA in bio, chem and psychology). I also have an A* in the EPQ.
my GCSE'S are not that great 97776666
they said they i will make a "competitive application" for the 5 year undergrad course and they encouraged me to apply.
But in terms of funding, if i stay at my current uni, i wont have to move out and will be alright as i will have enough money to pay for my fees but if i have to move out it might be a problem but thats not my biggest concern.
For other unis idk if its bettter to apply for the undergrad course or should i apply for the postgrad.
i have had a look at the postgrad entry and most require a degree in the biological department and dont consider applicants from other subjects.
n guyz pls dont school on grammar, im in a rush atm n thought i would quickly post this.
thnxx
The biggest challenge I think is funding, since I don't think dentistry has the same funding as medicine as a second degree.

If you can afford it then it might well be a reasonable investment in your future.

if i get into my current uni i wont have to move out - and basically u can still get the maintance loan from sf so i could just use tht to pay off my fee but my uni only have 67 places n they get 1000 applications..technically i could also apply for undergrad med and still make a competitive application but idk if i wanna do tht. i more into dent. i jus need to get more work experience to decide between the two.

I'm not saying to not apply to dentistry, I'm saying that you just need to okay for it financially.

If you wouldn't be able to afford it if you had to move out then that uni is your only option, regardless if how competitive it is (and all dentistry courses are competitive!).

So you just need to plan ahead with your finances to make sure you can cover things
