Accomodation

Is accommodation first come first serve? I put Nottingham as my firm yesterday and went to make an account in preparation for accommodation opening, however it said allow 48 hours after accepting as your firm to make an account. Now I'm worried I won't have an account in time to apply when accommodation opens, and I'll miss out! ☹️
edit: if anyone finds this in the future, I did have to wait 48 hours to make my account but I was able to apply to the accommodation I wanted to so its not the end of the world!

Which halls are you wanting to apply for? I believe they are first-come-first-serve but most usually don't get fully booked up right away.

Hi I cant create the account, I tried using Nottingham ID Number and application number but it appears as I wasn't an student even after accepting my offer 3 months ago. Do I need to pay the CAS to be able to get my id?

I haven’t heard much apart from the quality of the food but isn’t it self catered now?

If anyone is still looking for accommodation, me and my friends are actually looking for people to takeover our rooms because we don't plan to live there anymore. It's at a place called Cotton House/Mills and is a 15 min walk from Jubilee. Just message me if interested :smile:
