Getting a 9 in English Literature?

With 41 days left of revision, I left English Literature to last. This can be seen as a good thing, as I have done most revisions for other subjects meaning I can now set English as a high priority.
Paper 1 - Macbeth/ A Christmas Carol
Paper 2 - An Inspector Calls/ Poetry

I'm not sure how to go about with English Literature. I know you need unique ideas because whenever I use the standard interpretation of quotes I get a bad grade. I can memorize quotes, memorizing is never a problem for me but interpreting quotes and putting them on paper with sophisticated language has always been my weak point

A Christmas Carol and poetry are especially my weak points as I do not have a thorough understanding of what goes on.

Does anyone have ideas on how to revise English Literature and get a grade of 9? Thanks

For quotes, use gcseenglishrevision,it’s a website, have a look at the analysis of quotes as it’s quite insightful and higher level analysis. For context, have a look at the writer’s background and the background the time its written in,then you should have a look at critical theory but don’t worry too much about that. Then you should just write loads of practise questions for your teacher to mark.Btw,this is just how Im currently revising and went from 4-7 in mocks,in terms of getting a 9 I have no idea.
