How is the BArch course for undergraduates at Nottingham Trent?

Hi 👋

Our BArch Architecture (ARB/RIBA Part 1) course is the perfect first step for students aiming to become a qualified architect. You’ll be exposed to diverse aspects of architectural design, linking sustainability and urban design with business practice. You’ll also learn to creatively communicate your ideas through drawing, and explore spaces through model making and 3D visualisation, with project work providing opportunities to develop skills and experience.

The course has been prescribed by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

can a BA architecture part 1 also validated by both ARB and RIBA transfer courses to a BArch or is that the same type of qualification

A BA Architecture will be the equivalent of a BArch or even a BSc Architecture. As long as the course is RIBA-validated as a part 1 qualificiation, it doesn't matter how it is named.
