University of Leeds or Birmingham?

I have received offers from both Leeds and Birmingham to study economics and politics and cannot decide which one I would prefer to go to. Any thoughts?

In all honesty the university may be good but living in Birmingham is not for the weak. May be biased but I’ve lived here for 17 years and it’s just rough.

I went to visit the University of Birmingham. If I do go, looking likely at the moment, I’ll be a 5-10 minute walk from, what I describe as, the old looking part of campus where they teach law medicine etc. My accommodation is private however it is in the surrounding area of the campus and I can say that it’s appears to be a nice area. I can’t vouch for maser or selly oak but the residential area and city centre appear to be good.
