changing bank details

I am a first year student
the other day i got an email saying re-apply for sfe
at the moment i have 'current account'
I want to apply for student account with santander for 2nd year. I think they usually allow students to open an account in august??
if i re-apply for sfe and for the bank details i give the 'current account' details, can i change the bank details in august when i open a new account with santander?

If you are already at uni, you can open a student account with Santander now. The August date is only for new students once uni places have been confirmed after results day.
You can change your bank details in your SFE account at any time.
