English literature alevel methods

Hi, does anyone have a list of higher level methods for Alevel unseen poetry or for unseen prose please as I keep getting told to add more methods to my essays however, I’m never told what sort of methods to actually look for 😊

Hi there,
By methods do you mean authors methods? If so look out for metaphor, pathetic fallacy, colour imagery, imagery, use of voice, narrator (use of first person/second person etc)
Try to really know a couple and look out for these in texts to help 🙂
