hey, i firmed a uni but when i was looking for uni options i thought more about moving closer to my boyfriend rather than looking at a range of unis, stupid i know.
he’s broke up with me and i’ve already firmed the uni. thing is i really like the city but the housing is extortionate which i was only willing to pay if we were tg
i know that lots of people move to uni without knowing anyone but i mentally prepared myself to have him there, n now i wont and i dont know if i can do it anymore. n i cant stay home for personal reasons

Would you be able to share which Uni have you firmed? Perhaps some people here would be able to give advice on affordable accommodation options in that city or areas around the Uni?
Also, reach out to your Uni office (phone or email) and ask the accommodation team or money advice team to assist you with your issues, they are there to help.
