It actually wasn't that bad you know, I liked the Debussy question 5, I just really didn't expect it to come up becuase it has already before so I wasn't really that prepared for it tbh. The question 6 options were also quite nice as well tbf.

Literally I answered the Vaughan Williams question although I was tempted to do Stravinksy

Same I messed up the Shankar question so much. What did you put for the final instrument question. At first I thought it was flute but then I wrote sitar arghh

It was flute for the first solo instrument then cello for the last solo instrument 😓

Anyone found the Q5 piece? Something to do with Spain, from 1918, represents a beautiful and peaceful garden or something

It sounds like Ravel in style but I could be wrong, going to go on a Spotify hunt for it soon

Nights in the Gardens of Spain by Manuel de Falla?

Pretty sure its not. Thats a 1916 Orchestral piece, not a 1918 solo piano work, and after skimming through it i dont recognise anything in it. Plus It would be really mean if they gave us an orchestral piano reduction (then again this whole paper was mean)

I've searched through the entire wikipedia page for classical music written 1918, nothings a match.

I definitely found the berlioz question the worst, I’m so bad at intervals. :frown:

I can confirm it is certainly in the gardens of Murcia by Joaquin Turina. Did you know the piece before the exam??
