Not sure what to put as my firm and insurance for Biomedical Sciences

I have offers from uni of Bath for AAB, Liverpool for ABB and Birmingham for AAB but if I firm it will drop down to ABB. I'm not sure what to firm as all the courses are the same and I'm not sure what is the best place to live and which uni has the best graduate prospects. I'm predicted A in biology, A in psychology and B in chemistry but need A in both sciences for Bath which I think is the 'better' uni. Shall I firm Birmingham as a safe choice because it is likely I'll get the grades?
If I miss the entry requirements for any of the Universities by a grade am I likely to have a place still?
Does anyone have any advice?

Much of this depends on where you will feel happiest - and that's a personal choice.

Think about what size Uni you want to go to (Bath campus is considerably smaller than Brum or Liverpool, and so is the city), and about cost of accommodation (Bath will be more expensive than either of the others), are you into sport (Bath has Team GB facilities). Also look at the course content carefully - especially optional units in each year - what units would you choose to do if you went there.

You dont have to have an Insurance. You could just choose Liverpool as your Firm. Or either of the other two.
Or either you could Firm either Brum or Bath and not have an Insurance. Or you could have Bath/Brum as your Firm and Insurance in either order - Bath would be more likely to take you below grades than Brum so possibly Brum as Firm and Bath as Insurance?. Just remember that Biomed is the typical alternative course for those rejected from Medicine, so there will be hefty competition for any other Clearing places that are available so I'd suggest that you dont rely on Clearing as a back stop.

Okay great, thank you so much

Have you visited them all and seen the facilities and cities? Do you mind travelling a distance to home?

Still waiting for an offer for Biomed! Predicted A*AA - applied in January so that’s probably why it’s taking ages. Can I ask please what your predicted grades are, or do you have your grades already? Thanks

I applied with A*AA in October and got all my offers but Bath within 2 months, Bath replied at the start of Feb as they wait for all offers to come in to give offers
