Apprenticeship at level-3 vs A-levels

I'm thankful to have both an apprenticeship and A-levels available to me as options, but I'm struggling to decide. My career goal is to become an engineer (I enjoy it in general so I am not currently worried about a specialism), and I don't think Uni is suitable for me, so a degree apprenticeship is my goal. However, the journey is my concern:
I would much rather do a level-3 apprenticeship, but will it get me to a degree apprenticeship? How do I know if this specific apprenticeship is good enough?

Thanks in advance!

It would be interesting to get the views of engineers. Were it me I would do a levels. I’d be very nervous that you wouldn’t get the level of maths from the apprenticeship and that could be an issue later on.

I would go for the A-levels as well. Gives you more options if you change your mind down the road. You have to be sure to get the right degree apprenticeship for you and that you don't end up getting funnelled in a direction you don't want to go in. If you're not sure what direction you want to go in uni might be a better option. But still plenty of time to decide.

That's a good point actually, they do require quite a bit of maths.

Yes I do have a lot of time to decide which is good but I don't want to leave it last minute and then make a rushed decision. I'm hoping to get opinions by asking early, which is working very well so far so thank you.
