Hi,

I chose to do economics, psychology and English language. I absolutely love economics and would have loved to take it further but cannot do maths, I looked at economics and psychology joint courses as my back up. I then ended up looking into psychology instead and decided that’s what I wanted to continue my studies in.

Just find what interests you the most that’s the most important thing, some courses look for specific subjects but quite a few don’t. If economics or PPE is something you really want to do I recommended looking into unis you don’t need maths for or offer a foundation year (don’t really understand this but my teacher said it to us). Finding the right university course is kind of a lot of research but choosing something in the end you know your most likely to enjoy is the best thing.

Hope this helps 😊
Hey!
I don't personally think that's an odd choice since they're all social sciences. Some really good unis have degrees for that and if you become an academic at a good uni then you get to do what you enjoy doing somewhere prestigious and get paid for it too lol. Working at borough councils would also be a good career with your skill set because I have a friend who did social sciences at Kings and now she has a job at a council organising some really cool events.
I'm def no career advisor but those are just some ideas that I had - definitely actually research them if you're interested but I hope that helped!

You don't need 'work experience' for PPE.

Do something/anything, work in a care-home, on a building site, in McDonalds, whatever.
Nothing you can do for 2 weeks w/exp will make any difference at all to your chances of an offer for PPE from any University.
